While we have heard of people using our sauce on just about everything, we thought we would share some our favorite recipes with you.  After cooking with this sauce for over 5 years, we have come up with a few good recipes that you may want to try.
Pulled Pork
This is a favorite recipe of ours for succulent, tender, pulled pork:
Take approximately 2 pounds of pork (shoulder, roast, country style ribs).  Put into slow cooker or roaster covered with water.  Add 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of salt, and 1 medium onion sliced.  Cook until tender and can pull apart with fork (approximately  4 hours in roaster or 6-8 hours in slow cooker.  Drain water off of pork.  Shred with fork and add Baron's Barbeque Sauce  to taste.
Baron's Barbeque Sauce Meatloaf
If you are looking for a little more zip in your every day routine, substitute Baron's Barbeque Sauce for Kethcup in your favorite meat loaf recipe.  You will be surprised at the difference this makes.  Here is one of our favorite recipes.
Take 1 pound ground beef, 1 medium onion diced, 1 egg, 3/4 cup bread crumbs, 3 tablespoons Baron's Barbeque Sauce, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper.  Combine all ingredients and press into an ungreased loaf pan.  Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.  Drizzle extra Baron's Barbeque Sauce on top.
Saturday Night Spread
This is just another example of making a "Norwegian Version" of something a little more palatable.  Instead of Baron's Barbeque Sauce and spicy mustard, the original version calls for yellow mustard and ketchup.
Brown 1 pound of hambuger.  Drain off excess grease.  Add 2 tablespoons of spicy or brown mustard, 1/4 cup Baron's Barbeque Sauce, 1 diced medium onion, 1 can Campbell's Chicken Gumbo Soup, and 1/2 diced yellow pepper (optional).  Simmer until desired consistency for sandwich spread.  Serve on buns.
Baron's Barbeque Chicken Pizza
Prepare pizza crust as you desire.  (You can use flat bread, tortillas, homemade pizza crust, or store bought pizza crust.)  For the sauce element, add a thin layer of Baron's Barbeque Sauce.  Grill or sautee chicken and dice into small chunks.  Add chicken, diced purple onions, diced green peppers (optional), and cheddar cheese on top.  Cook at 400 degrees untill cheese is melted and slightly browned.
